Social Responsibility

Social responsibility means wanting to help others. You can do this is at your work and in your community. Some companies are socially responsible. They give time and money to schools and groups that help people. For example, Starbucks works with Feeding America to feed people in their towns. Companies can also help their employees be socially responsible by offering recycling programs or walking clubs. Some companies promote physical fitness by offering rewards to employees who walk 10,000 steps each day. When you are socially responsible, you think about things that are important for everyone. This can be a way to improve the world around you.
